
Multi-Protect claim - Hospital Benefit
Me and my husband had cover in place for 18 months before the scariest of situations hit our family.
My husband suffered a heart attack. To see him being blue-lighted to hospital and being rushed to
surgery was unbelievably traumatic.
I informed Karen of what had happened, unsure whether we could claim or not. Karen’s instant
reaction was to see how I was and of course Tony. Insurance didn’t seem to enter her head, she just
wanted to make sure we were ok. After I had filled her in and she had calmed me down and
reassured me, she just took over. I’m not really sure what she did, but the thought of talking to
strangers and endless form filling was not something I could focus on. Karen made sure I didn’t have

Shockingly, we were paid out within the week.
Unfortunately, there were complications with my husband’s heart and operation and he was
admitted to hospital again. Because Karen had been by our sides from the start, she already knew
what to do. I didn’t even know we could claim again… but Karen sorted it all. Once again, a quick
signature and we were paid out again. This time within 4 days. Throughout this time, Karen was
constantly checking in and sending well wishes and support. The little things really mean the most.
I can’t thank Karen enough for her support during the scariest time of my life. She took all of that
stress away.

know that just 2 years later I’d be diagnosed with breast cancer requiring 6 months chemotherapy,
surgery and more. At just 42, with my own business and a young family to support, I was terrified

incredible, acting swiftly to start the ball rolling with my claims resulting in pay-outs that have given
me financial security I have needed during this difficult. On top of that she’s been a shoulder to cry

Amy – Child Cover
Two years after arranging our cover with Karen, my son had a very serious accident at home, which resulted in him losing his sight in his left eye. He had to go through so many hospital visits, operations and tests, which was traumatic in itself, but the worst news came when we were told that they were unable to save his eye, and that he would need a prosthetic made. As a family, we were devastated. We had two other children to care for, and we had to keep him isolated from his brothers (during the covid pandemic) so that he could attend his appointments. My husband had to take time off work to care for our other sons, whilst I was paying out costs for the hospital daily – transport, food, TV. It just all added up, and we were hit so hard financially.
